Print Information
In each thumb gallery you will see an image
labeled as the source image for the mandalas with the same name which appear
after that source image....until another source image...etc....etc....Hundreds
of different mandalas or kaleidoscopic views can be created from a single source
image...similar to the hundreds of views you can see simply by turning a real
handheld kaleidoscope. Sometimes I use a different color scheme on the mandalas
than appears on the source. Print sizes 20 inches or less are printed at 300 dpi (dots per inch). To give you an idea of how much more stunning detail is contained in a print compared to a typical computer monitor (1024 x 768 pixel resolution), consider this: It would take at least nine monitors, three across and three high, to show the same amount of information and detail contained in a single 10 inch square print. Put another way, a full screen image printed on
paper at 300 dpi would be only 3 inches wide (again assuming a monitor
resolution of 1024 x 768). Borders I am planning to offer a number of other print configurations, including multiple images prints. Let me know if you have a design or arrangement in mind and we can work something out. You can email me at bob@spicedart.com |
